The Basic Skills for Living resources are user-friendly and self-contained  teaching modules. These can be used by a variety of educators. They are adult oriented. Each module indicates the Literacy Stage One—Three as a guide. 

Educational modules have assessment tools to identify learners’ strengths and areas for learning; ready to use resource sheets, activities, and worksheets. Some modules also have fact sheets for reading—see side bar links.

Eating Healthy Foods series:
Educational modules are listed on the side bar. Topics relate to food basics—nutritious food choices, meal planning, food shopping and food preparation skills. 
Now You’re Cooking! Cookbook: 
Cookbook has 43 pictorial and easy to read recipes. Microwave recipes included.
Learning about Money series:

Educational modules are listed on the side bar. Topics focus on money management skills needed everyday by consumers. Banking skills, spending plans and understanding credit.
Handling Money:

This resource has an Introduction and nine educational modules that address basic money recognition and money handling skills.
Consumer Education: 
This resource has an Introduction and six fact sheets on credit use.
